Education requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience

Experience or Skill requirements:


  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Business or Commercial Banking environment with emphasis on credit and commercial real estate preferred.
  • Prior experience with loan processing or underwriting required.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements, property operating statements, corporate and personal tax returns."
  • Understanding of commercial real estate loan structuring processes and regulations associated with commercial real estate lending
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate loan documentation preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial banking ownership structures preferred.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Banking services

    ritten communication skills;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer relations and sales skills;
  • Ability to demonstrate being a selfstarter, wellorganized, detailoriented
  • Strong team and personal work ethic.
  • Ability to work well independently, exercise independent, professional judgment, and operate in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Solid understanding of commercial real estate appraisal theory and techniques.

Duties:


  • Contribute to the Team's overall meeting and/or exceeding the assigned volume/production goals while balancing credit risk
  • Responsible for managing full cycle of loan requests process.
  • Responsible for completion of annual renewals, the collection of all required financial reporting and covenant tracking within the portfolio.
  • Provide financial and market analysis.
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend changes and improvements to lending policies and procedures.
  • Requests all required third party appraisals required and obtain due diligence reports or assignments from other banks, as needed, while ensuring that all comply with bank policy and regulations.
  • Identify and evaluate areas of concerns pertaining to a loan and engage in problemsolving with Lender or Relationship Manager
  • Manage the coordination of information between client and internal departments for the loan approval, closing and booking process.
  • Close loans in accordance with approval and schedule and perhaps handle closing with client.
  • Monitor loan documentation exception reports and followup to clear up document exceptions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Manager to manage maturing loans.
  • Troubleshoot, report and manage activity on delinquent accounts at the various intervals
  • Generate and provide requested reports as necessary on Team's loan portfolio
  • Participate in team sales call and attend external events and activities in a business development role as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Relationships:


The Portfolio Manager will report tothe VP, Director of Portfolio Management, and will work with the Regional Presidents, Commercial Market Executives, and lenders.


Salary Information:
Annual salary varies, based on experience.
