This position is responsible for the planning and coordination of all marketing and business development endeavors, as well as assist, when needed, with firm-wide marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to,
- Plan and conduct business development activities in collaboration with Los Angeles principalincharge (PIC) and other firm principals and business development directors
- Develop statement of qualifications (SOQ) and RFQ/RFP responses in collaboration with Principals
- Develop and prepare PowerPoint presentations
- Collaborate with Marketing Director on Los Angeles marketing and public relations needs
- Participate in firmwide marketing team weekly conference calls and other BD/marketing activities
- Participate in industry conferences and events
- Utilize existing contacts and build local networks to raise the firm's Los Angeles profile in key markets including (but not limited to) civic, higher education, hospitality, aviation, interiors, and corporate/commercial
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Five+ years of relevant experience in the Los Angeles A/E/C industry
- Technical competencies including: Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly extensive experience with InDesign; Microsoft Office including PowerPoint; Deltek Vision CRM, OpenAsset, and Prezi experience is a plus
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills: ability to prioritize competing scheduling demands
- Ability to independently define, schedule, and manage the proposal preparation process, including the ability to understand and analyze RFQ/RFP requirements
- Demonstrated ability to work with mínimal direction
- Demonstrated ability to work within a team structure
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
Compensation for this role is based upon experience, qualifications, location, and education. Typical range is $65,000-$99,000.
