The AWO Rudolstadt is a modern social enterprise providing social services for children, youth, seniors, socially disadvantaged individuals, and people with disabilities. We are one of the largest employers in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district. Founded in November 1990, our company now has over 500 employees in 24 facilities and projects.

As a recognized welfare association active in all areas of social work, we are looking to fill the position of a pedagogical specialist (m/f/d) for ambulatory support according to § 27 SGB VIII for unaccompanied minors (UMAs) aged 17 and above in the Saalfeld-Rudolstadt district immediately in part-time or full-time, with an unlimited contract.

Your responsibilities

Providing assistance and support to eligible individuals in everyday and crisis situations
Supporting unaccompanied minors in the role of a support guardian and providing assistance for young adults (§ 41 SGB VIII)
Ensuring the well-being of the child and promoting their development
Accompanying to offices and authorities for application procedures
Structuring support plan processes and participating in support plan procedures
Close collaboration with eligible individuals, institutions/authorities, and service providers
