Job Summary:

The Department of Gastroenterology at HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner to support with inpatient GI consults and follow ups.

Develop protocols and plans of treatment under physician supervision

Monday

Friday, 8am 5pm
Must be peopleoriented and willing to learn
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally
Must have strong interpersonal skills to work with a diverse patient population
Expected to work with various providers on the medical staff averaging 1520 IP consults a week
Certified nurse practitioner with prescriptive authority required
Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Texas
3 plus years' experience is preferred and work experience with patients in a hospital setting
