Job Details

• This key role is responsible for repair and maintenance of EV charging, including but not limited to site safety, electrical system maintenance/repair, and other duties as required
• Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision and work under various conditions.
• Evening or weekends work is rare but may be requested for emergency response.
• OEM testing, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrade EV charger equipment
• Perform testing on equipment, including but not limited to; insulation testing (megger testing), thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate/isolate ground faults
• Review site manuals and drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance of equipment
• Communicate with internal and external customers, as required
• Working around high voltages and currents
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), always including a hard hat and safety glasses
• Working days, nights, weekends, and overtime as required
• Repetitive use of legs, arms, hands, and fingers
• Travel may be required
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong background in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
• 2+ years' experience in servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field.
• Experience in power engineering

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field is Required.
• Licensed electrician preferred.

This is a fully onsite position located in Fremont, CA; Monday- Friday from 10 am to 7 pm.
