    Description

    Marcum Search is assisting our real estate client in their search for a Bookkeeper in Beachwood, OH. This position is in-office.

    Responsibilities

    • code, and post vendor invoices to system.
    • phones daily on overflow from reception
    • Commercial Tenant Billing
    • Cash Receipts all properties (daily deposits)
    • up calls on delinquent commercial tenants.
    • new commercial leases/renewals.
    • Monthly Payroll processing
    • Bank and Other Reconciliations
    • late fees for commercial properties and call delinquent accounts.
    • all payables, receivables, loans, bank statements, and other as requested
    • 1099 Preparation.
    • Commercial Tenant CAM Calculation and Collection
    • work that may be requested from time to time by Controller and Senior management.

    Education, Experience, and Skills Required

    • degree preferred or minimum equivalent of 5 years of general accounting required.
    • with payables, reconciliations, and journal entries. Experience with lease renewals also helpful, but not required.
    • business acumen and understanding of inter-related business processes.
    • savvy, with a minimum of intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Working knowledge of Yardi a plus.
    • to meet deadlines, multi-task and have strong attention to detail.
    • inter-personal and communication skills.
