• Small critical access hospital in Northwest Ohio 10 inpatient Psychiatric beds
• Inpatient and Outpatient mix
• The average length of stay for inpatients is 3 4 days Behavioral Health Practice offers:
• Outpatient New Evaluations 1 hr.
• Outpatient Medication Management visits 30 min
• Neuropsych evals.

• Office hours are M-Friday, with patient hours being 8:30 5p
• Cross cover with Inpatient weekend on call
• Friday 5p Monday 8a (usually 1 weekend a month)
• Cross cover of weekly inpatient call and hospital consults
• PHP program is currently being re evaluated with potential move to IOP program
• Outpatient therapy children through geriatrics
• The practice model for the inpatient unit is set up according to state rules.
• Psychiatrists are responsible for completing a psychiatric evaluation within 24 hours of admission and managing psychiatric medications.
• Rounds must be completed every 24 hours for inpatients.
• Programs for inpatients are scheduled in order to help patients gain further coping skills.

• The treatment team consists of Psychiatrists, Nursing, Social Service, and Recreational Therapists.

• The majority of inpatients are admitted through our Emergency Center, but referrals also come from facilities in a 50 mile radius.
