- Develop and deliver Reliability and Robustness Documentation (DFMEA, P-Diagrams, Boundary Diagrams, Calibration Guidelines, Diagnostics Operations Summary, Fault Demonstration Methods).
- Perform diagnostic routines, report findings, and provide recommendations to enhance system reliability and durability.
- Conduct HIL/SIL, on-road, emissions, and/or dynamometer data collection to validate and calibrate diagnostic monitoring capabilities of new powertrain technologies.
- Identify and assist in resolving OBD issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Author scripts using Matlab, Python, and/or other scripting languages to analyze system/diagnostic behavior and support the calibration process.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in automotive product development.
- Required:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proactive and works well independently.
- Good team player.
- Proficiency in Excel and Matlab.
- Preferred:
- Working knowledge of product development system engineering principles.
- Understanding of basic combustion engine operating principles.
- Knowledge of basic controls engineering principles.
- Familiarity with OBD regulations (EPA and CARB).
- Experience with calibration development tools.
- Hybrid work arrangement.
- Pay rate: $40-42 per hour.
