- Set up, conduct PM's, troubleshoot, repair, and operate multi-spindle screw machines
- Work independently, handling specific or cross-functional tasks as required
- Interpret blueprints and fabricate parts to specifications while maintaining precise tolerances
- Conduct in-process checks to confirm efficient and accurate part production
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance
- Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations
- Understand and adhere to plant safety regulations

- Engage in Lean Transformation initiatives, including safety programs
- Assist colleagues as needed
- Maintain a clean workspace
- Accurately complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner

We are in need of a skilled Davenport/Cold Former Machinist to be part of our team at Worthington Enterprises. This experienced professional collaborates with colleagues in the primary valve housing department to ensure production schedules and quality standards are met efficiently, crafting parts necessary to fulfill customer requirements. The ideal candidate should have a solid mechanical background and be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of solving problems with a strong work ethic. Candidates who are available for either 3rd shift or off-shift schedules are encouraged to apply. Applicants should be able to lift items weighing over 50lbs and have intermediate knowledge of a cold former.
