Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting and Analysis: Manage comprehensive sales reporting by pulling data from multiple portals to create a weekly sales report. Provide insights, recap weekly performance, and adjust future projections based on new data points.

Manage financial projections by analyzing previous years' data points and forecasting multiple scenarios based on potential market trends, which inform inventory planning and marketing spend.
Conduct monthly reporting on Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) to provide essential data to CPAs for inventory accounting. Oversee daily inventory monitoring to ensure accuracy at the warehouse level and prevent discrepancies.

Payments and Vendor Management: Handle payments through importing invoices from vendors into the payment portal and issuing payments directly. Track payments and balances for inventory to ensure accounts are adequately funded.

Invoice Auditing and Compliance: Audit transportation and inventory invoices to ensure accuracy and prevent overpayments. Manage sales tax obligations through TaxJar, Shopify, and bank accounts to ensure timely and accurate tax payments to the proper states.

Stakeholder Communication and System Implementation: Prepare and present complex financial data to stakeholders. Support the implementation and improvement of financial systems and tools, enhancing process efficiency. Utilize financial analysis software such as Tableau, Excel, VBA, and pivot tables.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree or CPA designation preferred.
Proven experience as a Financial Analyst with a strong background in financial principles and analysis techniques.
Proficiency in financial analysis tools such as Tableau, VBA, Excel, pivot tables, and familiarity with QuickBooks Online. Hyperion knowledge is a plus.
Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data effectively.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
