Social Media Coordinator
Hobart, IN
Full-time
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute a resultsdriven social media strategy.
- Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
- Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
- Attend events and produce live social media content (potential travel opportunities).
- Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
- Collaborate with team to create a social media calendar.
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
- Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
- Assist in sales related to social media inquiries.
- Review for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any discrepancies.
- Uses basic office equipment (photocopy machine, fax machine, etc.)
- Maintains a satisfactory level of quality and productivity per department standards
- Ensure and observe all safety and housekeeping rules and guidelines
- Additional assigned tasks as required.
Skills:
- Excellent people and phone skills
- Moderate to advanced computer skills
- Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
- Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
- Excellent social listening skills
- Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
- Must be comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as communicating with other departments
- Manage incoming communications in a prompt, efficient, timely and professional manner meeting all accuracy and productivity standards
- Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
- Great attention to detail
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to travel to events for interaction with potential customers and content collection
- High school degree or equivalent
- Positive attitude and ability to keep a calm/clear head in high pressure situations
