Social Media Coordinator
Hobart, IN

Full-time


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Execute a resultsdriven social media strategy.
  • Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
  • Attend events and produce live social media content (potential travel opportunities).
  • Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels.
  • Collaborate with team to create a social media calendar.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends.
  • Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments.
  • Assist in sales related to social media inquiries.
  • Review for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any discrepancies.
  • Uses basic office equipment (photocopy machine, fax machine, etc.)
  • Maintains a satisfactory level of quality and productivity per department standards
  • Ensure and observe all safety and housekeeping rules and guidelines
  • Additional assigned tasks as required.

Skills:


  • Excellent people and phone skills
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills
  • Passion for social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
  • Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
  • Excellent social listening skills
  • Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
  • Must be comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as communicating with other departments
  • Manage incoming communications in a prompt, efficient, timely and professional manner meeting all accuracy and productivity standards
  • Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to travel to events for interaction with potential customers and content collection
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Positive attitude and ability to keep a calm/clear head in high pressure situations

$ $20.00 per hour
