Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, Our Defense Systems sector wants you to join our diverse team of professionals as an Administrative Assistant (level 2) located at Edwards AFB, CA.


You will perform normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files; interviewing callers and making proper referrals; arranging meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail.

You will also review drafts and finish documents for appropriate grammatical usage; answer questions relating to office operations and establish policies and procedures.

Gather, compile and reports on information relevant to supervisor's assignment. May take and transcribe dictation.


Basic Qualifications:


  • High School diploma and 2 years additional education and/or experience.
  • Experience in working with only general supervision and instructions.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends and support oncall status when necessary.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret DoD clearance and maintain that clearance.
  • Able to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Active Secret clearance
  • Experience in the Aviation or Aerospace industry preferred.

Salary Range:
$44,600 - $74,400

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
