Technical Sales Representative – Electronic ComponentsHuntington Bay, New York (Full-Time | On-Site | Regional Travel 25–50%)
$90,000 – $125,000 Base + Bonus + Full Benefits

On offer is an opportunity to join a globally recognised manufacturer of precision-machined electronic interconnect components, supplying customers across telecommunications, aerospace, medical electronics and high-reliability industries.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Technical Sales Representative, who enjoys both selling and problem-solving at account management/ upselling level as well as driving revenue by identifying new business opportunities, supporting OEMs and distributors.
This your chance to represent a premium product line for existing customers while developing deeper technical expertise and building lasting partnerships across high-spec industries.
THE ROLE:
- Proactively identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the assigned territory to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Retain and grow existing accounts through regular engagement, upselling, and technical support throughout the design-in and procurement process.
- Coordinate and support independent sales representatives while providing technical assistance to OEM and distributor partners.
- Maintain accurate CRM reporting, track market trends, participate in trade shows, and provide leadership with territory performance insights and forecasts.
THE PERSON:
- Experience in technical sales, ideally within electronic components, interconnects, or engineered products.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both engineering and procurement stakeholders.
- Mechanical or technical aptitude with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications preferred.
