Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Referral Coordinator.

As a Referral Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of patient referrals within our medical office.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Health Affiliates Maine has an opening for a
Referral Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time, 40 hr/wk, role.


Referral Coordinator Responsibilities:


  • Accept and process client referrals over the phone and electronically.
  • Respond to all clients and referral sources within 24 hours.
  • Provide Followup to clients on the referral waiting list
  • Be familiar with the AMHI Consent Decree requirements for referral placement and follow the agency policies in regard to timeliness.
  • Maintain required documentation of referrals, referral sources, and referral processes.
  • Obtain and retain current information on outpatient and case management provider's referral needs and areas of expertise.
  • Attend departmental and staff meetings as scheduled.
  • Perform other duties related to the position as deemed appropriate by the Management Team.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent _Required_

Experience working with people who have behavioral health disorders _Required_

MHRT-c or Formal training as a DSP _Preferred_
