Your IT Recruiter is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire an experienced ServiceNow Developer be a critical member of the IT Applications team.

In this role, you will work hand-in-hand with the platform owner and architect, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with business objectives. You will maintain and enhance the ServiceNow ecosystem while serving as a technical lead, guiding and mentoring teams on best practices and complex technical solutions.

We're looking for someone with extensive ServiceNow development and administration experience, ideally 6+ years. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are able to translate complex concepts into digestible insights.

As a ServiceNow Developer, you'll:

Champion and evangelize best practices for ServiceNow development and administration.
Act as a technical lead on projects, serving as the subject matter expert on ServiceNow, focusing on ITAM, ITOM, and integration capabilities.
Collaborate closely with the IT application administrators, platform owner and architect to design, develop, and refine ServiceNow functionalities and ensure the platform performs seamlessly and meets business needs.
Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, design workflows and processes, and deliver consistent support.
Dedicate time for continuous learning to remain updated with new ServiceNow modules and features, adapting to the company's growth trajectory.

Commitment: This is a full-time, 6-month, ongoing contract position staffed via our client. This role is hybrid requiring at least 3 days onsite. It will be available to candidates who are local to the Foster City, CA area.

Requirements

6+ years of extensive ServiceNow development and administration experience, with a focus on the following:
- ITAM, ITOM, Flow Designer, integrations, scoped applications, and automated testing frameworks
Demonstrated ability to orchestrate productive meetings, set clear user expectations, and evangelize ServiceNow best practices
Stellar communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for translating complex concepts into digestible insights
A pronounced sense of responsibility and a drive for continuous evolution and learning

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in hardware or software asset management
ServiceNow-certified application developer certification
HR service delivery certification
