Medical Assistant
Summary
Responsible for assisting with daily clinical and clerical operations of AHC.
Works in collaboration with provider care team to provide quality care to patients and quality support to providers through consistent communication.
Education
Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent with GED. Must have completed an accredited medical assistant program.
Licensure/Certification
Must be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through AAMA or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through AMT or obtain certification within six (6) months of hire.
Experience
Medical assistant or physician office experience preferred.
Other Qualifications
Must have solid verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of clinical or clerical operations, service excellence, clinical quality initiatives preferred. Must be familiar with computers, electronic medical record experience preferred. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
