Overview:Part of the Finance team, you are the driving force behind keeping the business running smoothly. You play a crucial role in balancing the financial health of our organization with strategic decision-making and long-term planning. From managing expenses to budgeting and forecasting, you help ensure financial targets and objectives are met. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success.
Responsibilities:We are seeking a talented individual to provide FP&A leadership and to ensure appropriate controls are in place over defined lines of business for Lixil Americas Logistics Operations. The Logistics analyst will be the primary lead for all analytics and accounting. Responsibilities include full ownership of the Americas logistics P&L. They perform the duties listed below independently or through delegation to team members including Americas Logistics teams. They will work closely with the commercial, finance and operational leadership teams to provide financial projections and accounting guidance.
Own and execute the Monthly Close, Forecasting and Management Reporting Package for outbound freight and warehouse costs. Direct and prioritize the team driving timely tactical activities and deadlines. Develop, improve, and educate on financial performance and operational metrics as it pertains to transportation, warehousing and inventory. Improve forecast accuracy and alignment with the Commercial, Supply Chain Management and Financial Planning & Analysis teams.
Develop, improve and own standardized reporting, KPIs and visualization via Tableau dashboards, Excel reports, and Power Point presentations. Act as the key liaison for troubleshooting, ad hoc requests, analysis and supporting business cases with cross functional teams. Be the touch point for financial data analysis, business intelligence implementation and maintenance (Tableau, SAP, and Ariba).
Monitoring and controlling costs related to transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing cost reduction strategies, eg. Mitigating demurrage costs and excess rent costs.
Provide all necessary requirements for Audit, Compliance, and ensure controls are in place to safe guard assets.
This position is open to candidates in the US and Canada.
Qualifications:3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Manufacturing industry
Minimum of five years of Financial Management experience is required; High proficiency in financial modeling techniques, forecasting, budgeting, and FP&A
Self-starter, disciplined, and interpersonal. Strong commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Strong fluency in: Excel, SAP, PowerPoint, Tableau a plus.
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
Bachelors Degree in Applicable Field
