Company Overview:_ Glamour Decorating is a rapidly growing luxury window treatment company that is a manufacturer rep, and authorized dealer for high end motorized interior & exterior shades, window treatments, draperies, and upholstery. We are currently looking for a new team member with commensurate experience to help us manage our office, and logistics.

Position Overview:_Logistics Coordinator/Operations Manager is a new and dynamic role at our rapidly growing company. We would be utilizing your experience and expertise to build out this department. Imagine being able to co create and pioneer a department and run it the way you see fit from day one We believe that the addition of a key team member in this roll will enable our company to run like a well-oiled machine. Please note this is a 5-6 day per week position. Please note, training will take place in Richmond Hill, Queens

REQUIREMENTS:


  • 5 Years of Logistics experience required
  • Proficient with basic computer skills
  • Organized
  • Able to improvise
  • Able to multitask
  • Eager to learn
  • Window treatment and shade knowledge is a plus
  • Job requires loading and unloading of moderately heavy boxes
  • Knowledge of working with tools
  • Valid & clean driver's license, vehicle will be provided.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


  • Build out SOP for this department
  • Streamline the logistics and Installation process
  • Organize and account for existing and incoming inventory
  • Receive and organize freight from LTL Carriers
  • Set aside jobs for the installation team the evening before installation
  • Check and maintain stock of installer's vehicles
  • Enter orders with manufacturers
  • Create Installation & Service Schedules
