    Position Summary:

    Oversee the operation of advanced mailing equipment to maintain quality standards. Foster a positive work environment, drive efficiency, and provide departmental support when needed.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
    • Facilitate work completed in department as a working lead.
    • Help operators with set up and troubleshooting.
    • Update SQDIP board and complete basic problem solving.
    • Maintain departmental two bin systems.
    • Assists in duties when supervisor is out. May provide direction to employees in lieu of supervisor.
    • Collect all material and equipment needed for production processes.
    • Ensure stock of needed materials is ready and available.
    • Provide training as needed.
    • Assist in duties and job completions when various operators are out.
    • Complete jobs scheduled for the assigned equipment according to the job ticket within the established time frames for each job with minimal supervision.
    • Check and verify job components against job sample, along with other key information and indicators.
    • Create/produce client Signoffs or samples.
    • Carefully follow written and/or verbal directions. Asks for clarification, if necessary
    • Maintain, complete, and verify paperwork for each production run documenting: production run counts, make-ups, postal information, meter readings, and other production logs as directed by supervisor.
    • Check accuracy of paperwork pertaining to job, including counts, tray tags, box labels, samples, and seeds.
    • When processing mail ensure meet all USPS regulations and guidelines/requirements. Applies accurate postage and mailing labels to Domestic and Foreign mail. Complete all necessary paperwork to move the product through the mail stream efficiently.
    • Track job costs/production hours as applicable.
    • Troubleshoot problems during production cycles and report issues.
    • Contribute to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free workplace, report potentially unsafe conditions and ensure that the department meets and exceeds safety requirements.
    • Meet productivity and quality standards by completing work in timely and accurate manner.
    • Work overtime as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Minimum Qualifications of Position:
    • High school diploma, general education degree (GED), four plus years of relevant industry experience or 520 hours as an Imagine temporary employee along with manager's approval to hire full-time.
    Preferred Qualifications of Position:
    • Five plus years of experience working in printing, manufacturing, distribution and/or fulfilment.
    • Experience in set up and operating mailing equipment (MCS, Pitney Bowes, Bell, and Howell)
    • Experience using a pallet jack.
    Knowledge And Skills:
    • Basic computer skills including email, basic mouse, keyboard, and menu navigation.
    • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and measurement.
    • Ability to communicate/understand basic written and verbal instructions.
    • Experience in set up and operating mailing equipment (MCS, Pitney Bowes, Bell, and Howell)
    • Must be able to learn how to operator pallet jack.
    Working Conditions And Physical Requirements:
    • Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
    • Frequent standing for prolonged periods of time
    • Frequent walking
    • Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to visually inspect all work for defects.
    • Manual dexterity for repetitive work
    The national pay range for this role is $17.50- $23.00/ year or hour. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission, or incentive program. Imagine offers benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus tuition assistance, caregiver leave, adoption assistance, and employer/partner discounts.
