As part of a succession plan, we are currently looking for a Head of Financial Accounting (m/f/d) for our German companies at our headquarters in Leipzig.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the financial accounting of the holding company and three other German subsidiaries with a team of 6 employees
  • Responsible for ongoing bookkeeping (accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, fixed assets, etc.) and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to German GAAP
  • Manage cash flow, interest, and currency positions and work with the CFO to further develop treasury structures
  • Continuously develop the department, effectively manage resources, and actively drive digital transformation in the finance department
  • Advise and support the management in all relevant financial matters
  • Act as the main point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and tax auditors
