    DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
    • Minimum ten years of experience in mechanical contracting or related field, focusing on estimating.
    • Proficiency in Piping, Plumbing, and sheet metal systems.
    • Demonstrated experience in estimating system costs across various applications and building types.
    • Ability to generate conceptual estimates for design-build projects and budgets from basic mechanical descriptions.
    • Strong presentation skills, particularly in construction project interview
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
    WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE? As a Senior Estimator, you will manage bid recaps, proposal letters, and forms from inception to completion. You will attend bid review meetings, monitor project changes, and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely estimates. Additionally, you will lead take-off teams, conduct quantity assessments, and identify pricing gaps. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in mechanical contracting, a deep understanding of system costs, and the ability to provide conceptual estimates for diverse projects.WHAT WILL YOU DO?
    • Oversee the entire bid process, from inception to completion, including drafting proposal letters, completing bid forms, and compiling bid recaps.
    • Attend and actively participate in bid review meetings to ensure proposal submissions meet requirements.
    • Monitor all project addenda, scope changes, and breakouts to integrate them into estimates promptly.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders to address project specifications, scope issues, timelines, and value engineering opportunities.
    • Validate system specifications summaries to ensure accuracy.
    • Led a team in conducting project page turns for thorough take-off understanding and communication.
    • Perform quantity take-offs of Equipment/Fixtures and review project plans/specifications for comprehensive scope comprehension.
    • Identify and address any missing labor, scope, and materials pricing components.
    • Review vendor and subcontractor scope letters for accuracy, maintaining positive relations while ensuring timely completion of bids.
    • Coordinate pre-construction activities between sales and estimating departments to optimize resources and achieve organizational goals.
