Whether you are an experienced professional or just starting your career, we offer numerous entry and training opportunities.We are currently seeking a Signal Mechanic (m/f/d) for DB Netz AG at our location in Dillingen (Saar).
As part of a qualification program, you will start as a skilled worker in the field of signaling and safety technology.
You will go through several development steps with us until you reach the position of Signal Mechanic.Your responsibilities include:
- Inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of systems in the field of signaling and safety technology
- Focusing on electronic components such as signals, switches, and control systems, but also learning about mechanical components
- Working mostly in a team, but also independently and reliably, to complete tasks in your regional area
- Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems, primarily working outdoors
- Creating and submitting reports on system malfunctions
- Starting and ending your workday at the central base, where you will collect all necessary materials, modern equipment and measuring instruments, and your vehicle
Your profile:
- Completed training in electrical engineering, such as electrician, mechatronics technician, electrical specialist, or automation technician
- Willingness to participate in rotating oncall duty after comprehensive training
- Comfortable working outdoors
- Motivation and willingness to learn for the internal qualification program
- Reliable, teamoriented, and flexible
