- Manage multiple suppliers and acquire data required for master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.
- Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.
- Optimize supplier responsiveness and information flow to drive process improvements.
- Leads analytical activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods, track performance and assist in supplier selection process.
- Communicates across direct organization, specifically Customer Service, and supplier base.
- Presents to senior leaders (EB and SEB) in specific technical space and on cross functional teams on supplier capabilities, and how technologies interconnect and contribute to overall strategy.
- Connects the dots across technologies and develop cross-technology solutions; works on cross-functional projects/teams to deliver technology solutions for the business.
- Communicates across the function in area of expertise.
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university, or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
- 3+ years of experience in materials planning and execution required.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to translate requirement to actions.
- Proven communication skills - oral and written.
- Documented computer usage skills across multiple applications.
- Experience interfacing with external suppliers/customers.
- Demonstrated ability to hold external suppliers/customers accountable and influence their behavior.
- Proven knowledge of LEAN principles and ability to lead initiatives.
- Experience coordinating several projects simultaneously.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Proven analytical and organizational ability.
