    Description

    Amentum is looking for a Finance Manager to join the team in Hawthorne, Nevada to support the Hawthorne Army Depot. The Finance Manager will report to the Hawthorne Army Depot Program Manager, with oversight from Amentum's Business Unit Finance Director. Responsible for general accounting and finance functions for the assigned program or business unit. Develops, implements, and administers financial records according to accounting principles, corporate policies, and government regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage general accounting activities.
    • Oversee financial analysis of budgets and schedules for the assigned program/project.
    • Develop and administer cost accounting and financial management systems.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contract requirements.
    • Coordinate financial compliance issues with government agencies.
    • Administer financial projections and cash flow forecast.
    • Provide supervision, training, and quality assurance to department personnel.
    • Maintain all required reporting as designated.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
    • 3-5 years experience in government finance or similar field.
    • Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial analysis.
    • Working knowledge of US Government accounting practices and Federal Acquisition Regulations.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
    • Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines and manage shifting priorities.
    • Personal integrity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Implements a safety culture to maintain a safe work environment. Ensures quality and customer satisfaction in job activities. Complies with operational, safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
