- Monitor and escalate to Search and Rescue for clients as needed;
- Provide call intake for all FocusPoint clients;
- Offer administrative, logistical, communication, and operational support to Security and Medical personnel that are operationally deployed;
- Demonstrate proficient understanding of all Terms and Conditions and Rules and Regulations of FocusPoint products;
- Keep track of all media and other information sources for global events which may impact FocusPoint clients or its personnel;
- Maintain the system operations log as part of case management by entering and updating information as required and directed;
- Ensure continuous coordination with the operations center in South Africa;
- Collaborate with Medical Operations Manager & Supervisors and Directors on cases that involve medical and/or security assets;
- Perform other duties as assigned;
- Two (2) years of EMT or tactical experience highly preferred;
- College degree preferred; or equivalent work experience;
- Three (3) years of security industry management or (5) years experience preferred (private industry and/or Military/Government)
- Ability to work under stressful situations;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Proficiency in speaking and writing English;
- Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM;
- Detail-oriented with keen attention to detail;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Professional, flexible, and dependable;
- FocusPoint maintains a drug-free environment;
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts including weekends and/or nights;
- This is NOT A REMOTE position although there will be exercises for remote work in case of natural disaster in Florida;

FULL-TIME OPERATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST (OSS) – OFFICE BASED
24/7 Operations Center Providing Emergency Response as a Service (ERaaS).
*THIS IS NOT A MENTAL HEALTH CRISIS RESPONSE OR ASSISTANCE CENTER*

FocusPoint operates a Crisis Response Center dedicated to providing search and rescue services worldwide. The Center is focused on delivering global rescue services, including alert monitoring, GPS tracking, and Search and Rescue escalation. The organization is committed to ensuring the safety and security of satellite and cellular device holders in need of emergency assistance. As an Operation Support Specialist (OSS) at FocusPoint, you will play a vital role in our 24/7 environment. Your primary responsibility will be to provide operational support for our search and rescue services, ensuring timely response and effective coordination of emergency situations. This is not a typical call center role; rather, it requires a problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically under pressure.
