Description

Mission :

Our mission at Oakmont is to provide on-site support at the Airframer Final Assembly Line in Hamburg for landing gears, wheels, and brake systems/equipment during aircraft development, assembly, and flight testing.

Role & responsibilities :

As an Oakmont Service Engineer, your main responsibility will be to prepare, perform, and document interventions on aircraft, including:

  • Addressing any reported defects or damages from the customer
  • Implementing design changes or specific upgrades
  • Conducting troubleshooting

You will represent Oakmont and maintain a professional corporate image in line with our company standards while working with our customers.

You will be part of a team of 10 Service Engineers working in a 2-shift system, reporting to the Oakmont Hamburg FAL Manager and located near our customers' facilities.

Your tasks will include a mix of activities, such as:

  • Office work (checking drawings or documentation, recording and archiving intervention details, reporting to our home base and production site, etc.)
  • Workshop tasks (managing spare parts, chemicals, and tools)
  • Interventions on aircraft (replacing parts, troubleshooting, repairing paint, etc.)
