    Description

    CONMED is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Advanced Surgical's R&D team situated in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing innovative products, particularly focusing on minimally invasive surgical technologies that offer tangible benefits to medical professionals and patients alike. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to create and transition new products into the manufacturing phase.

    The roster of Advanced Surgical products includes:

    • Advanced insufflation systems
    • Advanced energy systems
    • Electrosurgical units (ESU's)
    • Laparoscopic surgical instruments

    Responsibilities:

    • Developing new circuits for both capital and disposable equipment
    • Conducting design simulations on electrical systems
    • Creating technical and project documentation
    • Prototyping new electrical designs and overseeing board bring-up
    • Supporting board layout activities
    • Designing RF Amplifiers and power supplies

    Required Qualifications:

    • B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field
    • Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience, preferably in new product development
    • Proficiency in handling analog signals

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Hands-on experience with RF Amplifiers and power supplies
    • Familiarity with Altium software or similar tools
    • Track record of producing technical documents like protocols and reports
    • Prior exposure to the Medical Device Industry or comparable regulated sectors
    • Background in electronic disposables and high-volume disposables

    Expected travel: 0-20%

    This position does not offer visa sponsorship

    As mandated by law, the annual salary range for this role is $100,000-$160,000. Actual compensation may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, education, and expertise. The salary range reflects CONMED's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting.
