The Front of House Manager oversees all operations at a restaurant. This is a full-time position and offers great potential and career advancement with a growing restaurant group.

The individual we are seeking has a true desire to be in the hospitality industry, passion for food and beverage, creating a seamless service environment, attention to the details and is always striving for excellence.

We require someone who is determined to go above and beyond for all her walk through our doors, both guests and staff alike.


Job Duties

  • Interview and hire for a restaurant's Front of House positions.
  • Manage the training of the servers, bartenders, hosts, and server assistants to meet the specific needs of the restaurant.
  • Attention to all details of the restaurant, cleanliness, steps of service, guests' experience, etc.
  • Potential assistance with expediting food from the kitchen.
  • Overseeing large private events and ensuring events are executed flawlessly
  • Assisting with the hostess stand, organizing the floor plan and potential waitlist when needed.
  • Ability to direct staff to handle unexpected situations and guest concerns throughout a shift as needed.
  • Creating regulars through our desire of going above and beyond, remembering names and faces of returning guests.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in polished casual/fine dining fullservice restaurant
  • Prior management experience preferred as Front of House Restaurant Manager.
  • Some experience with Liquor, Beer & Wine inventory controls
  • Management experience in hiring, firing, training, and disciplining staff.
  • Leadership skills to keep staff on task, motivated, and focused.
  • Proficiency with Micros Point of Sale systems is recommended.
  • Handson leader and the ability to coach and get great results out the Front of House team.
  • Conflict resolution skills to manage staff conflicts and guest's concerns
  • Organizational skills, able to juggle many responsibilities at a time.
  • Passionate about talking to guest and dedicated to providing excellent service for all guests while improving their experience
