Established in the summer of 2002, Adventure Kids Camp began as a way for Executive Director Julie Klabunde to spend more time with her own children while still providing them with fun yet educational summertime activities.

Duties:


  • Supervise and engage campers in a variety of activities, including sports, arts and crafts, field trips, and swimming.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all campers at all times.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes personal growth and social development.
  • Serve as a positive role model and mentor to campers, demonstrating leadership and responsibility.
  • Collaborate with fellow counselors and camp leadership to plan and execute daily activities and special events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of camp facilities
  • Maintain open communication with campers, parents, and staff to address any concerns or issues that may arise.

Qualifications:


  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Previous experience working with children in a camp, school, or recreational setting preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Enthusiasm, energy, and creativity
  • CPR and First Aid certification (required but training will be available prior to the start of camp).

From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
