- Manage client refund processing and collaborate with Financial Operations and Claims Processing teams
- Record transactions in billing system and NetSuite Accounting System
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Serve as billing and accounting lead for key Trust client accounts
- Respond to client, vendor and internal inquiries accurately and timely
- Serve as cross-functional support member for Financial Operations Receipts and Payables teams
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable experience required
- Must have strong Excel skills (Pivot tables, basic formula writing, etc)
- Strong organization and time management skills; effectively manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Aptitude for working independently and within a team in a collaborative environment
- NetSuite experience is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to think creatively and offer new solutions- strong appetite for seeking process improvement and defining best practices
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Degree in business, accounting, or related field preferred, but not required
- Minimum of three years related accounting or accounts receivable experience and/or training
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

Lucent Health Solutions is a technology‐driven, human-focused health care risk management company, maximizing the value of data to deliver the most affordable health plans for employers. We are seeking a Financial Operations Specialist to support the Financial Operations and Accounting team in our Nashville headquarters.
Position Summary:
The Accounting Specialist role is a cross-functional role that will serve the Financial Operations team in a variety of accounting and operating activities. This role will work closely with the Financial Operations Lead and the Financial Operations - Payables and Receivables teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions while adhering to established processes and procedures. This role will require basic accounts receivable, accounts payable and billing knowledge, a strong work ethic, and an attention to detail. This position will report to the Financial Operations Team Lead.
