Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Roofing Sales Consultant / Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge in developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and overseeing roofing projects from initial consultation to completion. Your expertise in outside sales, business development, and project management will drive growth and ensure customer satisfaction. Duties
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, and territory management strategies.
- Conduct detailed product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing roofing solutions tailored to their needs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and partners through effective account management and customer service.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, including negotiation of contracts and pricing.
- Oversee roofing projects ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and client satisfaction by coordinating with installation teams and vendors.
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data for strategic planning.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that boost brand awareness and generate new leads.
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the roofing or construction industry.
- Strong management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously as a Project Manager.
- Expertise in business development, lead generation, and territory management to expand market reach.
- Proficiency in CRM software like Salesforce or similar platforms for customer relationship management and analysis.
- Excellent negotiation skills paired with exceptional customer service abilities to close deals effectively.
- Familiarity with marketing strategies that support inside and outside sales efforts.
- Strong analysis skills for evaluating market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently while upselling additional services or solutions when appropriate.
