The Ground Networks Sub-Systems team is seeking an individual with strong communications and coordination skills to help drive business operations and execution across multiple product teams, ensuring alignment with Technical BizOps Leads.

This role has accountability for domain level efforts, agile processes, and optimizing development for maximum financial value. Collaboration is an essential part of the role as the team is distributed throughout the world.


The day-to-day:

  • Drive operational rhythm for of the domain including scrum of scrums, monthly business reviews, quarterly planning, and all hands
  • Drive intake, catalog, and prioritization of work into domain initiatives, tying into business priorities, roadmaps, and dashboards
  • Categorize, capture, and roll up work in progress to domain and org roadmaps
  • Work in collaboration with teams, Product and Program Management, and BizOps to drive the execution and delivery of domain efforts from inception to placement into production and DevOps
  • Drive team efficiency through execution and delivery metrics, KPIs, and OKRs
  • Ensure adherence to established GSN processes, methods, protocols, and best practices and drive required artifacts
  • Plan, lead, organize, coach, train, and motivate teams
  • Liaison between teams to identify, capture, and resolve dependencies
  • Interface and facilitate coordination crossteam and crossdomain to mitigate risks and address issues
  • Manage and track domain resources including forecasting and performing demandsupply matching of team resources while optimizing team capacity
  • Lead strategic and operational planning for the domain
  • Finance accountability to ensure development efforts maximize business value including tracking of capital and sustaining work, reconciliation to budget, hardware/software purchases and support contracts, and contractor SOWs
  • Release and upgrade management planning and tracking across the domain

What you'll need:

  • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience
  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Handson leadership experience organizing and executing large scale developments with crossfunctional team dependencies
  • Experience leading teams following agile software development practices (ie, Scrum)
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Has worked in a Global Network environment
  • Handson experience with Atlassian products
  • Ability to guide teams through conflicts to achieve consensus on technical implementations
  • PMP or Agile certification is preferred
  • Years of Experience: 5+ in project management
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business, or related work experience
  • Up to 10% domestic travel
