- Ensures all deposits are posted into the Great Plains GL within 24 business hours of deposit.
- Disburses AP funds via ACH and checks 2x/week in accordance with established control procedures.
- Prepares and pays all Clinic debts, taxes, leases, insurance, and pension/retirement deferral obligations; monitors balances to ensure obligations are met.
- Prepares AP disbursement forecast 2x/week for review, and then facilitates disbursements.
- Uploads positive pay file 2x/week to bank. Reviews and approves positive pay inquiries daily.
- Records direct debits (where an external party draws funds electronically) identified in bank accounts into Great Plains.
- Monitors bank account balances, outstanding and pending disbursements, and resulting net balances daily.
- Prepares and distributes the daily cash position and projection report.
- Posts all patient refund batches that come from the Business Office.
- Creates and executes journal entries to transfer miscellaneous receipts to appropriate GL accounts.
- Creates and submits journal entries as needed to correct erroneous receipt of funds postings.
- Reviews monthly bank reconciliations completed by other Accounting team members and submits corrections as needed.
- Completes reconciliation of assigned accounts monthly.
- Provides Revere Health Foundation direct contributions and payroll deductions data to the Finance team for posting in Foundation GL.
- Completes escheatment process for defunct disbursements and unclaimed property in accordance with state laws and regulations.
- Ensures Clinic compliance with working capital bank covenants.
- Initiates access and permission requests to online bank accounts.
- Recommends treasury controls to ensure protection of Clinic assets.
- Alerts stakeholders when certain triggers are met (e.g. receipt of, or failure to receive timely, sensitive payments, account thresholds, etc.)
- Cross-trains Finance team members on treasury functions and ensures an alternate Finance team member is available to complete daily treasury functions in the event of absence.

- Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience in Accounting, Finance, Revenue Cycle, or Banking
- Experience working with enterprise accounting applications, e.g. Great Plains, QuickBooks, etc.
- Proficient with Excel (authoring, editing, formatting, and auditing skills); proficient developing reports and charts.
- Proficient with other Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience working with online banking and cash management applications.
- Familiar and fluent with GAAP.
- Diligent and detail-oriented, works well under pressure.
- Strong verbal, written, and visual (e.g. charts, tables, etc.) communication skills; able to explain complex issues.

Position Summary
The Treasury Accountant is responsible for managing the cash, liquid assets, and cash flow of Revere Health ("Clinic") to ensure cash is available and deployed to support operations.
Plans, organizes, directs, and controls all activities related to cash management, banking, and disbursements in accordance with established protocols and bank covenants.
