Per Diem REGISTERED NURSE - OR & PACU 2-4 shifts per month

Boston IVF currently has a
Per Diem position available at
Boston IVF's Albany Center. The position may require weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department.

Flu Vaccinations are a requirement of employment.


Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing individualized nursing care to Boston IVF surgical patients.

The Registered Nurse must also demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge in the care of patients undergoing day surgery with monitored anesthesia.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Circulate Egg Retrievals, Paracentesis, Hysteroscopies
  • Prepare Sterile Field
  • Provide appropriate, safe nursing care to patients according to standards of AORN
  • Assist in Instrument Processing
  • Restock supplies
  • Additional duties TBD

Job Requirements and Skills:


  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in New York
  • PACU, and/or OR Experience


  • BLS

  • Note: ACLS required within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum of two years OR experience preferred
  • IVF/Fertility or OB/GYN experience preferred
  • Must have excellent communication/documentation, computer and organizational skills
  • Possible training in the Waltham Surgery Center (Massachusetts licensure not required)
