Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
- Responsible for monitoring and record all inventory transfers and receipts. Accurately record all details of inventory moves
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Working with other departments such as quality control or production
- Maintaining organization in the warehouse
- Sorts and places materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence or product code
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Accountable for inventory in both company locations
- Investigating any issues involving logistics
- Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and process shipments
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints
- Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
- Comply with laws, regulations and ISO/OSHA requirements
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company processes
- Follows all necessary SOP's
Requirements:
- Previous supervisor/management experience at least 1 year
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
- Forklift/Safety certification
- Must be able to drive standing and sitting forklift
- Ability to read, understand and follow instructions on an SOP is critical in this role.
- Must have basic math skills to add, subtract and divide
- Must be able to drive standing and sitting forklift
- Ability to lift a up to 50 lbs, to stand 85% of the time, ability to bend, reach and stretch.
Technology Requirements:
- Knowledge of logistics function in a ERP
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to interact with computer system and make basic transactions accurately
- Proficient in standard logistics software

Pay:
$70, $85,000.00 per year
