Generator Setter - Crofton, United States - A to Z Generators

Job Summary:

As an aspiring Generator Setter, you will need to learn the ins and outs of Generators. This includes understanding equipment handling and having general construction skills. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver and set generators, while also interacting with customers.

Knowledge of mechanical small engines is a plus, as you will be required to perform routine maintenance and services on generators.

If you lack experience, training will be provided.

• The job is Monday through Friday

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid Driver's License, and the ability to pass the DOT medical exam.
• Collaborate with internal teams, product, and sales, to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Mechanical knowledge is a plus, for effectively setting up and maintaining generators.
• Basic construction knowledge is a plus
• Experience in project management is a plus, to oversee generator installations with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to operate lifts, dingo's (walk behind forklift), operate trucks, haul trailers and operate bobcats
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
• Work independently, be a problem solver, and work with other technicians to complete tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Dilver and set home standby generators at the customer site with mínimal direction.
• Engage with customers courteously and professionally.
• Work with internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Complete training in line with the scope of the work.

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour
