Student Capital Planning & Maintenance Summer Staff will work with the Housing & Residential Life Maintenance Manager as well as the Work Order Systems and Office Manager.

The following duties will be completed

  • General painting of residential buildings
  • Inspections of buildings when necessary
  • Inspections of life safety certificates when necessary.
  • Other responsibilities as provided by the Capital Planning & Maintenance Office Staff

  • Current undergraduate student of Fitchburg State University

  • Must show up on time and ready to work on time for your shift
  • Ability to work with in a team environment and individually
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Ability to perform above duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Additional Information:


Shift Information**:
We are looking for several students for full time summer employment. There are two shifts available; Monday - Friday from 6am-2pm or 7am-3pm at $15 per hour. Start date is approximately May 20, 2024. You must be a full time undergraduate student in order to be eligible.
If you are graduating in May 2024, you are not eligible for this position.
