    Job Description

    Successful candidate will oversee day-to-day IT & Agency Operations. This position plays a crucial role in configuring, optimizing, and maintaining the agency's IT infrastructure as well as collaborates with facilities personnel to ensure agency operational efficiency. This includes hardware, software, networks, cloud services, servers, storage, security systems and video security as well as other related technologies. The role encompasses overseeing the installation of information and communication technology systems for New Life Center's campus, Hope's Closet, and Sunshine Healing Center locations. In addition, will have overall responsibility for the Maintenance, Facilities, Housekeeping, and Kitchen Departments.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Supervision

    • Provide leadership and direct supervision to the supervisory staff of the maintenance and housekeeping departments.
    • Offer program oversight to all facility operations including ordering and tracking relevant inventory, and overseeing building projects and improvements.
    • Hold regular supervision meetings with staff, document supervision notes, and complete performance evaluations as required.
    • Conduct regular facility program meetings with supervisory staff as needed.
    • Attend scheduled management team meetings.
    • Support and approve regular training for staff by assisting departmental leads.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    Information Technology

    • Act as a liaison between agency staff to communicate and troubleshoot IT-related issues.
    • Provide advice to management staff on pending changes, upgrades, and user issues.
    • Establish protocols for the use and addition of IT across Agency departments.
    • Maintain network security system, safeguarding agency network and data from cybersecurity risks.
    • Provide technical and administrative support and training for systems and networks.
    • Monitor system and network performance and agency maintenance activities.
    • Collaborate with third-party vendors to manage applications and services running the cloud.
    • Work with vendors to perform network testing, monitoring, and maintenance for internal systems.
    • Maintain security and confidentiality of internal data and ensure regular backups.
    • Analyze and report computer network security breaches.
    • Assist staff with the set-up and maintenance of necessary hardware and software.

    Facilities Management

    • Responsible for maintenance and facility operations processes for various locations.
    • Participate in planning and implementation of construction projects and ensure regular upkeep of physical buildings and grounds.
    • Plan activities and resources required to maintain facilities.
    • Lead and supervise maintenance and housekeeping staff to ensure a safe environment for employees and residents.

    Kitchen Operations

    • Provide oversight for all kitchen operations, including ordering inventory, menu planning, and preparing meals.
    • Ensure high-quality meals are served, following safety regulations and inspections.

    AGENCY MANAGEMENT

    • Website management for various departments.
    • Oversight of Technology Systems for different locations.
    • Assign and oversee work of department personnel in facilities and kitchen areas.
    • Consistently meet production and quality standards.
    • Identify obstacles and provide solutions.
    • Support the Agency's goals, vision, mission, and values.
    • Deliver training to internal personnel.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of system or network administration experience.
    • Experience in planning, setting up, and troubleshooting hardware and software.
    • Minimum of 2 years of management-level experience in leading successful teams.
    • Experience with various networking and operating systems.
    • Ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
    • Communicate information clearly and effectively.
    • Adapt priorities to achieve tasks efficiently.
    • Perform duties independently and accurately.
    • Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

    REQUIRED

    • Valid Arizona driver's license or state identification.
    • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance, CPR/1st Aid Certified, Negative TB test required, COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption.

    **If necessary, New Life Center will complete these areas of qualification during the onboarding process.
