What will you do?

As Director of Operations, you will lead the local operations team while continuing to grow and develop future leaders of Family First.

You will build relationships with your team, as well as with the families we serve, by listening closely so that we can continue to redefine excellence in homecare through communication.

You'll own the details of your market through P&L management and embodying an entrepreneurial spirit of running your own market with the support of a tenured leadership team.

As the Administrator, you'll raise the bar as you uphold and adhere to the company compliance plans so that we are always creating the best environment for our patients to thrive.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Plan, organize, direct and evaluate operations to ensure the provision of adequate and appropriate care and services.
  • Undertake fiscal planning by budgeting and managing operations in accordance with established fiscal parameters.
  • Recruit, employ, develop and retain qualified personnel to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
  • Establish and maintain effective channels of communication.
  • Assure that skilled nursing and other services furnished are under the supervision and direction of a physician or a Registered Nurse where appropriate.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and collections.
  • Maintains professional, supportive and responsive interpersonal communication skill
  • Serves as the agency's Disaster Coordinator and is in charge as the Safety Liaison during an emergency as required in , F.S.
  • Acts as the HIPAA Privacy Officer

Minimum Requirements:

A health care professional who has two years of health-related experience and the education, knowledge and ability to effectively direct the program


Experience must be in:
- home health care
- hospital
- ambulatory surgical center
- assisted living facility
- nursing home
