Overview:

This role is based at our Phoenix, AZ HQ, and would require relocation to the Phoenix area._

Our Service Development team is excited to work with a
Technical Illustrator that is focused on precision, accuracy, and quality, backed with a passion for our products and industry.

You can quickly adapt, course-correct, and put yourself in our customers' shoes. Quality and integrity matter to you.

Responsibilities:

Working alongside our Technical Writers, collaboration with engineering and service teams to create procedures, illustrations, and other visual aids to assist in service functions
Owning the success and accuracy of the product

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
Ability to present complex technical information and data in clear, concise images that conform to Nikola's style guide
Excellent writing and grammatical skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Software Proficiencies:
Adobe Suite
Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat
Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)
Experience with CAD software
Other relevant illustration software

Additional Profile Characteristic Preferred:

Experience in a truck or automotive OEM environment
Experience diagnosing or assembling mechanical/electrical components
Experience with product improvement projects
XML Editing Software (Arbortext)
