Customer Service - Hammond, United States - INTERLIGHT

Summary:
This role is a full-time, on-site position at our Hammond, IN facility
Responsibilities:
- Gain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our business operations, enabling the role to become a goto problem solver for the company.
- Develop expertise and maintain operational excellence in our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics) to effectively handle complex, multichannel sales processes.
- Lead and manage the customer service team, ensuring optimal performance and effective issue resolution.
- Communicate critical information regarding order statuses, inventory needs, and operational bottlenecks to stakeholders and upper management.
- Design and implement comprehensive, robust processes to manage order flow seamlessly and ensure efficient handoffs between sales channels and operational departments.
- Strategically schedule and allocate resources to sustainably manage peak periods and maintain continuous operation without compromising service quality.
- Provide regular guidance and support to team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement in daytoday operations.
- Create and refine documentation and training materials that enable team members to succeed daytoday and increase their impact
- Regularly assess operational procedures and adjust to increase throughput, and reduce unnecessary costs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing operations in a highvolume, multichannel business
- Indepth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics (or other enterpriselevel ERP)
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with a track record of managing diverse teams.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- History of creating and implementing substantial operational processes, including flow development and mapping, and SOP creation
- Detailoriented with a robust analytical and problemsolving mindset.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies
- Experience managing teams with both local and remote employees
- Familiarity with Drop Shipping processes
- Ability to analyze and communicate data in Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets
- Experience managing logistics and fulfillment in an eCommerce or omnichannel retail environment.
Pay:
$70, $90,000.00 per year

- Weekends as needed
