- Proactively identify and address CRM system issues in advance of service interruptions
- Investigate & evaluate software requirements and provide recommendations for solutions
- Maintain and develop reports for various constituents
- Develop & maintain PAU websites using HTML/CSS/Drupal 9 and above, and other web tools
- Facilitate knowledge sharing by creating and maintaining detailed and comprehensive documentation and diagrams regarding solutions and processes
- Manipulates data and segmentation to help shape campaigns and communications
- Evaluates campaign performance and impact
- Assist in the development of automation practices with existing processes to eliminate repetitive processes
- Help the Institution understand customer behavior and provide actionable recommendations through the development of CRM reporting and analysis
- Act as a technical resource for higher-tier helpdesk issues
- Document relevant processes and improvements as they are implemented
- Ability to present complex information to a variety of constituents at all levels
- Industry experience in a similar role; experience in a higher education environment is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Mac systems
- Expert level experience in incident management, including experience with root cause analyses
- Strong experience with SQL is essential
- Website development & maintenance capabilities are essential
- Experience managing third-party apps on the Salesforce environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and command of written/spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex information quickly and tactfully to a variety of audiences
- Ability to work independently and take the initiative; demonstrated ability to identify and troubleshoot complex problems and see them through to a resolution
- Professional and service-oriented demeanor; must be able to work cooperatively with faculty, students, university colleagues, and external university partners
- Excellent attendance and punctuality, collegial and diplomatic behavior at work, and work performance to the satisfaction of management are essential functions of the position
- Excellent discretion skills in handling sensitive information such as PII, FERPA, and HIPAA
- Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience using SQL and SSRS
- Experience working with website, social media, and marketing functions
- Hands-on experience and proficiency in maintaining Salesforce CRM
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications

JOB SUMMARY
Palo Alto University (PAU) is seeking a Systems Analyst responsible for providing software support for all departments. This position troubleshoots and solves complex software issues, develops new reports, maintains existing ones, works on web administration and design, and owns an agile and hands-on approach to the design and continuous optimization of cutting- edge education software packages. In addition, this position works closely with constituents to manage and structure data on multiple platforms.

A CRM certification(s) from a qualified certification provider is preferred (e.g., Salesforce CRM
