Job Description

The LPN works under the supervision of a registered nurse. Administers specified medication, and notes time and amount on patients' charts. Takes and records patients' vital signs. Dresses wounds, applies compresses, ice bags and hot water bottles. Observes patients and reports adverse reactions to medication or treatment to medical personnel in charge. Collects samples, such as urine, blood, and sputum, from patients for testing and performs routine laboratory tests on samples. Sterilizes equipment and supplies, using germicides, sterilizer, or autoclave. Work will be between Monday thru Friday for 40 hours per week. Please note that you must be a US citizen.

The first year, the employee get unto 56 hours of sick PTO (they get 1 hour for each 30 hours of work), 11 paid holiday. After the one year anniversary, they all get 2 weeks of paid vacation. We offer both Health Insurance and 401K.

Education requirements: License is required from an accredited school of Practical nursing. Certification: Current BLS certification.

Experience requirements: One year experience within the preceding 3 years.
