    The Role We Want You For

    As a Process Engineer, we would love to have you to join our Technical Assurance Group (TAG). As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of industrial processes across our projects. Your expertise in process design, optimization, and risk assessment will be essential in providing technical guidance, conducting audits, and coordinating with project teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices. Your exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively will contribute to the overall success of our projects.

    The Specifics of the Role

    • Analyze and evaluate industrial processes, equipment, and systems to identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, productivity, and safety.
    • Develop and implement process design strategies and solutions, considering factors such as capacity, cost, quality, and environmental impact.
    • Conduct process simulations, modeling, and data analysis to optimize process performance and identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction.
    • Collaborate with project teams, engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to develop process requirements, specifications, and performance indicators.
    • Provide technical guidance and support during the design, installation, and commissioning of industrial processes and equipment.
    • Conduct audits and inspections to verify compliance with process design specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
    • Perform risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate potential process-related risks and hazards.
    • Identify and implement process improvements, including the introduction of new technologies, automation, and control systems.
    • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality and reliability of process equipment and materials.
    • Monitor and analyze process data and performance metrics to identify trends, deviations, and opportunities for optimization.
    • Collaborate with regulatory authorities and agencies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
    • Develop and deliver training programs related to process design, optimization, and safety.
    • Prepare comprehensive reports, findings, and recommendations related to process engineering reviews and assessments.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
    • Proven experience in process engineering and optimization within industrial environments.
    • Strong knowledge of process design methodologies, simulation tools, and optimization techniques.
    • Familiarity with safety regulations, environmental regulations, and industry standards related to industrial processes (e.g., OSHA, EPA, ISO 9001, ISO
    • Proficiency in process modeling and simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS, MATLAB).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure accurate process design and compliance.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including project teams, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
    • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and hazard analysis.
    • Knowledge of process control systems, automation, and instrumentation.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
    • Professional certifications related to process engineering (e.g., Professional Engineer, Six Sigma) are preferred.
    • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
