    Description
    An industrial manufacturer in the St. Louis, MO market is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer

    to develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. This role focuses on increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring high-quality product output while maintaining safety standards.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Process Design and Improvement:
    Analyze current manufacturing processes and develop new methods to enhance efficiency and quality. Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma techniques.


    Equipment and Tooling:
    Select and implement appropriate manufacturing equipment and tooling. Ensure machinery is properly maintained and calibrated.


    Quality Assurance:
    Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and specifications. Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for any quality issues.


    Data Analysis:
    Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Use statistical methods to optimize processes and solve manufacturing problems.


    Project Management:
    Lead and manage projects related to process improvement, new product introduction, and capacity expansion. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.


    Safety and Compliance:
    Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.


    Collaboration:
    Work closely with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies. Provide technical support and training to production staff.


    Documentation:
    Maintain detailed documentation of processes, improvements, and changes. Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.


    Qualifications:

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field

    Experience:
    3-5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering or a similar role. Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies preferred.


    Technical Skills:
    Proficiency in CAD software, manufacturing process simulation tools, and statistical analysis software. Knowledge of automation and control systems is a plus.


    Analytical Skills:
    Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking. Ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.


    Communication:
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present technical information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.


    Project Management:
    Demonstrated experience in managing projects and leading cross-functional teams.
