As our Thermal Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting thermal analyses for satellites, payloads, instruments, and mechanisms.

You will also perform plausibility checks and manual calculations to validate analysis results. In addition, you will support the development of the thermal control system, its subsystems, and components.

Your role will also involve simulating and monitoring thermal tests, such as thermal vacuum and thermal balance tests, for satellites and their components.

You should have knowledge of cost management, including budget, risk, and schedule, for thermal activities. Proficiency in software packages such as SYSTEMA/Thermica is required.

You will also be involved in the design and development of thermal hardware, including heat pipes, thermal straps, and thermal switches.

Your responsibilities will also include documenting all activities, mathematical models, and analysis and test results.

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics. You should also be willing to travel regularly for campaigns. Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills are essential. Fluency in German and English is required.
