The Production Specialist has an important role in our in-house production process, responsible for preparing print jobs and finishing large format signage for installation.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to understand job requirements, details, and deadlines.
- Prepare large format print jobs for production, including file preparation, color management, and layout adjustments as needed.
- Operate large format printers and cutters to produce highquality prints.
- Perform weeding and trimming of excess vinyl, ensuring clean and precise cuts for accurate signage production.
- Inspect printed materials for quality control, identifying and addressing any issues with color accuracy, resolution, or print defects.
- Laminate printed pieces using appropriate laminating equipment and techniques.
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies, reporting usage and reordering as needed to support production demands.
- Follow safety protocols and best practices to maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment maintenance and waste disposal.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3+ years) in large format printing and sign production.
- Proficiency in operating large format printers, cutters, and laminator equipment.
- Strong understanding of color management, file preparation, and printing techniques for large format signage.
- Detailoriented mindset with a commitment to producing highquality workmanship and meeting project deadlines.
- Ability to interpret job specifications and work orders accurately, adjusting settings and parameters for optimal print results.
- Effective communication skills and teamwork abilities to collaborate with colleagues and follow instructions.
- Adaptability to work in a fastpaced environment and multitask on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to equipment operation and material handling.
Pay:
$ $19.93 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
