SALARY:
$20.00 to 22.00 per hour


SUMMARY
The Order Management Specialist I is responsible for processing orders, ensuring accuracy, and providing support to customers.

DAILY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Daily management of customer delivery dates.
  • Daily review of inventory to release orders based on availability of product.
  • Research and resolve shipping discrepancies.
  • Address customer concerns or complaints effectively, striving to achieve satisfactory resolutions.
  • Proactively and promptly update customer of any delays with order deliveries.
  • End to End management of customer returns; from creating, tracking, and processing credit memos.
  • Prepare internal or external reports ad hoc reports.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Miscellaneous Duties

  • Assist with absent personnel responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Follow ISO/TL9000 requirements.

SKILLS

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment is required.
  • Detail oriented and organized, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.


WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Normal business days are Monday through Friday. Work hours will be assigned in advance.


TRAVEL
Very mínimal travel is expected for this position.


REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma, or GED

Proven experience in sales order management, customer service, or related field.
