    Position Description:

    We are looking for a Bookkeeping Clerk who is enthusiastic about maintaining precise financial records and ensuring adherence to established accounting procedures. The Bookkeeping Clerk will handle various bookkeeping tasks, such as data entry, reconciliations, and aiding in financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have keen attention to detail, exceptional organizational abilities, and a dedication to delivering top-notch work.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
    • Conduct data entry to accurately and efficiently record financial transactions
    • Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
    • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
    • Maintain precise and current accounting records
    • Help in preparing financial reports and statements
    • Address inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders
    • Back up the finance team with occasional projects and tasks as required

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in accounting or a related field is a plus
    • Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping or accounting positions
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero)
    • Keen attention to detail and precision
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
    • Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
