    Hours: Full-time

    Duration: 6 months to start

    Job Description:

    This role will focus on providing support for the leave of absence, accommodations, and disability plans and programs that are managed within the benefits team. This role will report to the Director of Benefits.

    • 5+ years of experience working on leave of absence, return to work programs, ADA, extended medical leave programs, short-term disability, long-term disability
    • HR Systems knowledge and experience. Experience with Workday and ServiceNowis a plus.
    • Experience working with third-party disability and leave of absence administrators
    • Ability to execute high quality work on time
    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Experience learning new processes and identifying opportunities to streamline and improve existing practices
    • Ability to work in a lean, high volume, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
    • Ability to identify the root cause of an issue and suggest approach to resolve to management
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to perform with superior service, reflecting a positive company image while sustaining a positive attitude with those you interact with; always going above and beyond to help others out.
    • Bachelors degree in human resources, management, or other relevant discipline is preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered.

    Daily Duties:

    • Assisting Benefits team with the management of disability, leave of absence (continuous or intermittent), return to work, ADA and extended medical leave programs while ensuring compliance with Local, State and Federal laws.
    • Partnering with a disability/leave of absence vendor and acting as a liaison between the vendor and employees.
    • Ensuring proper integration of vendor FMLA administration with short-term disability plan.
    • Interpreting HR policy and legislative developments to ensure compliance.
    • Responding to employee, manager, vendor, and internal and external call center escalations and questions.
    • Working with Legal, HR management, internal corporate functions, and external vendors, as needed, to solve complex and time-sensitive issues.

    'The target hiring compensation range for this role is the equivalent of $30 to $35 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
